When the agent gets real access, the risk moves to another level
Apple tightened Full Disk Access controls in macOS because of agent-related risk

The images are the original Instagram carousel, in Portuguese.
WHAT HAPPENED
Apple will add extra controls to Full Disk Access
Apple said some apps use this access in a way that can expose files, emails, messages, and browsing history without the user fully understanding it. And it said that, with more capable and autonomous AI agents, that risk grows substantially.
WHAT CHANGES
The technical message was very clear
- 01Full access will require very explicit user action
- 02Apple treats this level of access as extraordinary
- 03The risk increases as agents become more capable and autonomous
THE REAL PROBLEM IN COMPANIES
What I see in companies when the agent moves past the demo
- 01They ask for autonomy before defining who can access what
- 02They connect real systems without a clear audit trail
- 03They scale the pilot without well-defined operational limits
I'VE ALREADY SOLVED THIS
I've already seen this in an enterprise account
- 01Multi-agent platform in production in an enterprise account
- 02US$ 5.5 million account
- 03About 60% efficiency gain; audited defect log
MY TAKE
Launching is not the same as being used.
In practice, an agent in production is not just a model and an interface. It's access control, auditing, and operational limits. Without that, it may work in the pilot. But it doesn't become a reliable operation once it touches systems, sensitive data, and real decisions.
