The message is less hype and more real corporate operations

WHAT HAPPENED
Google launched a unified Gemini agent for businesses
According to TechCrunch, the agent receives goals, plans tasks, uses tools, connects internal systems, and delegates work to subagents. Google says it is starting with businesses to tackle the hardest problems in security, scale, and performance.
THE NUMBER
90%
of the Fortune 100 use Gemini Enterprise at work
The statement cited by TechCrunch helps explain the initial focus on the enterprise market
THE REAL PROBLEM IN COMPANIES
What I see in companies when the agent leaves the demo
- 01Without identity and permissions, the agent accesses more than it should
- 02Without real integration, it responds well but does not do the work
- 03Without an auditable trail, no one trusts it when something goes wrong
I HAVE ALREADY SOLVED THIS
I did this in an enterprise account
- 01Multi-agent platform in production in an enterprise account
- 02US$ 5.5 million account
- 03About 60% efficiency gain
- 04Multi-agent in production requires an audited defect log
MY TAKE
Measure instead of assume.
When the news talks about an agent with its own identity, permissions, subagents, and an audit trail, the core point is governance. In practice, an enterprise agent needs to be built with reliability and outcome measurement from day one. Without that, it looks good in the demo and weak in operations.
